The Gruniard River
A journey starting from the small dripping mosses and trees at the source of the river downstream through the swirls and eddies of currents over the rocks and waterfalls. Autumn and winter images of Beinn Dearg Mor and Beinn Dearg Beag alongside early snow on An Teallach set the context.

Sandaig in Glen Elg is where Gavin Maxwell kept his otters in the sixties and wrote “Ring of Bright Water”. It’s changed a lot since he lived there but the shoreline still resonates with their memory.
Dreaming Spires
